Asoma — 5 weights, Thin to Heavy. OpenType with 8 stylistic sets + discretionary ligatures.
Implementation
Alternates activated per-character via font-feature-settings classes on spans.
Scope
Glyph reference, weight specimens, alternates in context, and setup instructions.
01
Glyph alternates
Every alternate in stylistic sets 1–5 and the discretionary ligatures, shown in full. Left is the default glyph; right is the alternate the set activates. Shown here in Light. Verified against the font files — this is the complete set of what Asoma actually contains for these features.

Weights
Asoma ships in five weights. Every stylistic set and ligature is present and identical across all of them — an alternate you pick in Thin behaves the same in Heavy. Each line below carries the same mix of alternates so you can read the family's range at a glance.

Alternates in context
The reason the alternates exist: display settings where a single swapped glyph changes the whole character of a word. Each specimen below is built from live text with the exact stylistic sets called out in its caption — nothing here is an image.
Type only — drop shadows, textures, and offsets of the original references are deliberately omitted so the letterforms and the alternates are what you're reading.

Every alternate above is one CSS property — font-feature-settings — applied to a span wrapping the specific character. In Webflow this is fully native: no code embeds needed for the classes themselves, and they stay editable in the Designer.
Setup in Webflow
STEP 1
Upload all five weights
Site Settings → Fonts → Custom Fonts. Confirm the file keeps its OpenType tables.
STEP 2
Create the feature classes
Add the six classes globally (Site Settings → Custom Code, or Style Panel → Custom Properties on a span). They then live site-wide.
STEP 3
Wrap & assign
Highlight a single letter → Wrap with span → assign the matching class. Position within the word doesn't matter.
NOTE
Ligatures are two letters
For dlig pairs (AS, EA, ST…) wrap both characters in one span.
